Happy Fox Clinic is a dermatology and plastic surgery clinic that has cared for patients near Seohyeon Station in Bundang since 2003. The clinic's signature procedure, Autologous Dermal Regeneration (ADR), works in three stages: releasing the tethered tissue beneath the depression with a fine needle (subcision), injecting a collagen-regenerating solution into the released space, and allowing the dermis to fill in as it regenerates. Every ADR procedure is performed by hand by Director Sang-min Lee, who trained in aesthetic surgery in Japan and has performed the procedure more than 11,000 times (clinic figure, May 2026). The clinic also operates twelve in-house devices — including a LifeViz 3D skin-analysis camera, Shurink Universe, Newthera, Tune Face, Excel V, and pico lasers — for diagnostics and complementary anti-aging care.

I went out at the end of September 2021, but my time was taken up by a two-week self-quarantine. After running errands for about two weeks, I stopped by with a friend without knowing if it was even possible to get the procedure done during the remaining week. I had a consultation on Friday, had surgery on Monday, had the stitches removed on Friday, and flew back on Sunday. Everything proceeded smoothly within a week. When I checked my credit card statement after returning, I realized I must have been a bit evasive at the time, but I was extremely satisfied with the price as well. Now, four months later, it has fully settled in and looks very natural. I asked for thicker stitches, but they said they preferred a natural look, and they really did make it look so natural that I almost wish they would. No one knows even without makeup, and even I can't tell. Overall, my face feels brighter and younger, which is great. Thinking back, the memory of having my eyelids anesthetized, chatting about this and that while having the surgery, and then having to get the anesthesia re-applied to continue the procedure when it wore off, has become such a fond memory now.
